Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SnapGamez ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information. If you create a Team Owner or Coach account, we collect your email address and authentication details.
  • Gallery content. Photos, video clips, captions, comments, hearts, and uploader display names you or other parents submit to a team gallery.
  • Team metadata. Team name, sport, age group, city, and season — used to power discovery for galleries you choose to list publicly.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Paddle. We receive a confirmation and order ID but do not store your full card details.
  • Usage and device data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process payments and send order confirmations.
  • To communicate with you about your team gallery, security, or service updates.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, storage, payments, analytics, email), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Within your team gallery. Photos, clips, comments, and display names submitted to a gallery are visible to anyone with the gallery link.
  • Public discovery (opt-in by default off when set to private). Team name, sport, city, age group, and cover image of galleries marked as public may appear on our team-finder page so other parents can locate your gallery.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.

4. Photos & Videos of Children

SnapGamez is commonly used by youth sports teams. Galleries depict minors only with the awareness and consent of their parents or guardians. Team Owners and Coaches are responsible for:

  • Securing appropriate consent from each player's parent or guardian before sharing the gallery link;
  • Removing any photo or clip on request from a parent or guardian;
  • Deciding whether the gallery should be unlisted, link-only, or publicly discoverable.

We provide tools — moderation, hide-before-public, delete on request, and a "remove this gallery from discovery" toggle — to help Team Owners honor those obligations.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

Active galleries and their media are retained for as long as the team gallery remains active. Inactive accounts and galleries may be archived or deleted after an extended period of inactivity. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and redundant storage. No service is 100% secure; you should keep a personal backup copy of important media.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

9. Children

Accounts are intended for parents, coaches, and team managers (18+). Children may appear in gallery content uploaded by their parents or guardians, but children are not the account holders. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us so we can remove it.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required by law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above.

12. Contact
